This doodle of a bug with posca markers on a shaped wood panel is about the only non-digital thing I have managed to complete here in the last few weeks. I have been continuing with my Color Cube challenge. I plan on posting a set of 20 at a time as I finish them and I am getting close to my first set.
Life, however, has a way of derailing plans. There is a massive amount of overtime at work to be dealth with, and next week I have an interview for a position that has the potential to be something at which I can excel. I am excited, but trying to keep my hope tempered, as the chances of being offered the position are probably low. No matter what I will be putting every inch of my confidence up on the table. If given the chance, it may change my life. I could transition to something more creative, project-based, and suited to my skillset and interests and become an integral member of my city's communications and events. I just have to convince them to give the oddball from dispatch a chance to show them what I am capable of.
Whatever happens, I do hope to continue educating myself on different skills and trying to be the best version of myself I can be.
