Meat Scissors

Easter weekend. Almost Zombie Jesus day. It has also been National Public Service Telecommunicator's week. We have enjoyed free dinners at work and Attaboys. Things go back to normal tomorrow so I suppose I should go to the grocery. Theme of the day was wearing red so I took the opportunity to wear the floofy red bloomer pants I made the other day. It feels really good to wear something I made...even if it is more costume than I would normally be allowed at work. (One of the bonuses of Dispatch week and working nights!)

I will be switching to days here soon, at the beginning of May. There are things I definitely miss but also parts that will be a lot harder. So give and take.

I have been trying to put together some garb for the renaissance festival - since I am too fat to fit into anything I already own. I am going for comfy and quirky this time I think, but we will see what happens. I don't trust my sewing skills all that much, but the bloomers are great!

It's been hard to exist, but I am trying to tap into the positive parts of Bambi. It's just....hard.
