March begins. Writing in the green room of my community theatre. Yesterday was opening night of the play. I have all but neglected my personal work in favor of coming up with silly ideas and implementing them for the cast and crew. Some last minute promo materials, cast party gifts, costume stuff... etc. Some drama ensued as well. Enough that I have realized sometimes it's ok not to try and put 100 percent into everything you care about. I would have saved myself a lot of time and money had I just - not been me - this time around.
I HAVE learned a bit about how to create layered SVGs for the Cricut machine and hope to at some time create my own designs to sell on Etsy - but seeing as how saturated the market can be, I really need to find a unique niche to create for. There is so much out there for creatives to put on bags/t-shirts etc. I would like to come up with something unique and fun. Something I would actually have fun creating. It's what is in my mind at least.
But - after the play ends.
I wish I had more people I knew that would appreciate this play. I would like the cast to have a full house, they deserve it.
Anyway, the cast is arriving and it's time to prep for the Saturday night showing.
Find something beautiful in the day, whoever finds this and reads it.
