I decided the other day that I was going to attempt to make a (most likely digital) doodle for each of the 500 palettes in the Color Cube collection by Sarah Renae Clark. Not in order, where is the fun in that? The plan is to have people pick a random number from a list until I am done.
I am not sure if there will be any other rules - perhaps that it has to be done in one day so I only fiddle with it for the one day I start it on.
They are doodles, they won't be perfect or finished and they won't usually have a clear vision. It's just an attempt to keep my creative brain satisfied when I feel like I don't have the motivation to do anything large or finished.
On the iPad, I can record a video, so I have also been posting them on TikTok both on my main feed and my art/creativity specific page @lucidmadnessart. Well, for as long as we have TikTok I suppose...
I really am trying to be more consistent in getting my creative work out there and keep that part of my brain active and flexible. It won't be daily because I don't have that kind of time - BUT maybe every once in a while there will be a few in a day. I haven't set a lot of parameters as of yet - but I do have 500 of these things to do so maybe a flow will emerge.
The finished sketches will most likely find a home on this site somewhere eventually. Even the really bad and unfinished ones.
